Two LCK Members Olivia and Clara share their experiences of taking part in a theatre and comic book project that celebrates the resilience of young people with Long Covid, asking them, “What’s your Superpower?”

This year will be my 5th summer with Long Covid, a milestone that is incredibly hard to believe. The summers are long for those with chronic illnesses, especially with the temperatures rising, so I wanted to share my tried-and-true summer activities, which have kept me entertained throughout this sunny period and bring a little light to a sometimes-difficult time.

Over recent months, Long Covid Kids has contributed to the Department for Education consultation on proposed updates to the statutory guidance Supporting pupils with medical conditions at school. This work aimed to ensure that the experiences of children, young people and families living with Long Covid and overlapping illnesses meaningfully informed the consultation process and were represented throughout.
