'I really miss school': 71,000 children in UK struggling with long covid

The Office for National Statistics estimates 71,000 children (figures correct in 2023) under then age of 16 are struggling with a range of debilitating symptoms months after catching covid.
For many this makes daily life a struggle, badly affects their schooling, and risks ruining their formative years.
