Trustee
George is a children’s rights advocate with leadership and campaigning experience gained through youth democracy structures and international NGOs. He serves as the young people’s representative on the advisory panel of an NIHR-funded research study, helping to ensure young people’s perspectives inform policy and research development.
Since 2020, George has also run a blog, Teen Politics, dedicated to making politics and law more accessible to younger audiences. At the age of 16, he became the youngest-ever non-executive director of Amnesty International UK, reflecting his strong interest in rights-based governance and social justice. Having studied the International Baccalaureate, he is now planning to study law and French law at university, with an ambition to become a barrister.
His combination of governance experience, youth advocacy, and understanding of the impact of Long Covid on families strengthens his commitment to the work of Long Covid Kids.
