Sharon Humphries

With over 25 years experience working with children and their families, Sharrie brings professional expertise and personal insight to her role. Her background in education and childcare, together with her own lived experience, enables her to provide meaningful support and signposting to our families, whilst also working closely with the charity’s leadership team, supporting their work.

Sharrie has a strong understanding of the impact Long Covid has on children and young people, as well as the challenges their families face. Her teaching background helps strengthen our understanding of the barriers young people face when trying to access a suitable education, and also informs her commitment to ensuring that schools are healthy, safe and inclusive places to be.

Sharrie is passionate in her support, and in advocating for the many children who have had their childhoods disrupted by this debilitating, and yet still widely misunderstood, condition.
