Dr Rae Duncan

Dr Duncan is a Consultant Cardiologist and Long Covid Research Clinician treating older children (16+) and adults, with a particular focus on cardiovascular complications following Covid-19 infection. She is leading a research study into Long Covid in children in a PPI partnership with Long Covid Kids, and is a member of the International Long Covid Research Collaboration (TeamClots) and the Long Covid Expert Advisory Committee at the World Health Network.
A strong advocate for public health protections and clean air, Dr Duncan is deeply concerned about the cumulative impact of repeated SARS-CoV-2 infections on population health. She has contributed to policy development and education globally, working with members of the independent Australian Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (OzSAGE) to co-develop the Covid Safe Schools course and co-authoring the Living with Covid Safely public health policy for a UK political party.
Dr Duncan has provided invited expert testimony and recommendations to the Westminster All-Party Parliamentary Group for Coronavirus and continues to advocate for clean air in schools and workplaces as an essential public health measure.
