Sarah O Connell

Sarah has suffered from post viral ME since 2013 and developed additional health issues following repeat Covid infections. She has a BA in Psychology and MA in Psychoanalytic Theory. Sarah has seen first hand the devastation caused by post acute viral illness. In 2021 following his first infection Sarah's previously healthy son developed Long Covid and PANS. Sarah is passionate about fighting for proper recognition and services for those with Long Covid in Ireland.
She has been a Long Covid advocate since 2020 and has worked with the Long Covid Kids organisation since summer 2021.
Sarah is also a Co-founder of Long Covid Advocacy Ireland (www.longcovidadvocacyireland.com), the Republic of Ireland's only formal advocacy organisation for those living with Long Covid.
